We’re seeking a dynamic Production Manager to lead our manufacturing operations and ensure the timely, cost-effective, and safe production of high-quality Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs). This role oversees department leaders, drives continuous improvement, and supports the company’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a key member of the management team, contributing to strategic planning and execution to meet business objectives.
Supervise and support department Team Leaders to ensure production goals related to quality, cost, and safety are consistently achieved.
Analyze production reports and resolve operational issues to minimize delays and control costs.
Develop, implement, and enforce standard operating procedures to drive efficiency and ensure compliance.
Review production schedules and customer requirements to plan daily operations and resource allocation.
Prepare and manage operational schedules, ensuring on-time delivery of quality products.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment by actively promoting company values and supporting team development.
Partner with the Safety Committee to maintain a clean, safe, and healthy work environment.
Work closely with customers and internal teams to support product launches, resolve issues, and meet production expectations.
Maintain a production technology roadmap and collaborate on capital improvement planning.
Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, demonstrating professionalism and calm under pressure.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This role directly supervises team leaders and carries out supervisory duties in alignment with company policies and employment laws. Responsibilities include hiring, training, performance management, scheduling, and conflict resolution.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; additional education in manufacturing, operations, or management is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a production or manufacturing leadership role.
Proven experience leading teams and managing production operations in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Ability to work cross-functionally and foster team collaboration.
Travel Requirement
Minimal travel required (up to 5%), primarily for vendor visits or off-site training.
