As a community Mental Health Worker, you will be collaborating with licensed professionals and providing direct services to persons with major mental illnesses. Our clients live in the community and receive services through our creative outpatient center. This is an exciting position which places each worker in a position to provide meaningful services on a daily basis.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care to clients with mental health conditions, including daily living activities, medication management, crisis intervention, recovery assistance, counseling and creative services.
- Participate in treatment planning and goal setting with clients and interdisciplinary team members
- Facilitate group sessions and other therapeutic activities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client services
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including psychiatrists, nurses, and other mental health professionals
- Adhere to agency policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations
Qualifications:
- Experience working with clients with mental health conditions, preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or related field, preferred
