What are the responsibilities and job description for the Systems Analyst position at Ascella Technologies, Inc.?
Ascella Technologies is seeking a Systems Analyst to work on an application modernization effort and support data conversion activities at a cabinet-level agency. This role will provide critical support for implementation / migration activities. The Systems Analyst plays an essential role in several work streams as they will interface with both program and IT stakeholders. The position requires both functional and technical skills (see below) to be successful. Also, experience as a federal contractor with financial systems is essential. The position requires a solid understanding of federal financial systems and the agency-contractor relationship as it involves interaction with several federal managers and other contracting companies. The Systems Analyst also needs strong communication skills.
What you will be doing
- Understanding the current system business requirements and functions
- Assisting in migration / implementation / conversion of data from the legacy system to a new system
- Conducting testing for implementation and migration activities
- Creating Microsoft Power BI reports and dashboards
- Interacting with other contractor stakeholders
- Interacting with federal stakeholders
- Creating and maintaining contract SDLC documents
- Designing system user interfaces and controls for a federal financial application
- Designing, configuring, and implementing a federal financial application
- Gathering and documenting requirements and configurations
- Ensuring adherence to quality standards and reviewing project deliverables
- Assisting with project technical meetings
- Providing general team / user support

Base Compensation : We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, and we are open to discussing compensation based on your qualifications and experience
