At Ascend Behavior Partners, we believe in partnering with families to build strong foundations for children with autism. Our compassionate, collaborative approach brings together diagnostic evaluations, ABA therapy, and family mental health services to help children and their families thrive.
We’re currently seeking an English-Spanish Interpreter to join us as a 1099 Independent Contractor supporting remote/virtual care in our Denver, CO and Phoenix, AZ service areas. In this role, you will make a direct impact on families by ensuring clear, respectful, and culturally sensitive communication during evaluations, family interviews, and ABA therapy.
- Provide in-person and virtual interpretation between Spanish-speaking families and Ascend’s clinical and support teams
- Support communication during:
- Diagnostic evaluations (approximately 4 hours per child)
- Family interviews and assessments (approximately 1 hour per child)
- ABA therapy sessions virtually
- Promote trust, clarity, and connection between families and care providers
- Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, discretion, and cultural sensitivity
- Be extremely responsive and available as needed to meet family scheduling needs
What We’re Looking For
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English (spoken and written)
- Prior experience interpreting in healthcare, behavioral health, or educational settings preferred
- Highly responsive, timely, and adaptable
- Able to work independently as a 1099 contractor and pass a background check
- Strong active listening and attention to detail
- Calm, compassionate communication—even in emotionally charged situations
- A collaborative spirit and desire to support children and families with excellence
