Summary
Under the direction of the Clinical Case Supervisor, the Infant/Toddler Teacher will be responsible for providing home-based, play-centered, one-on-one classes within the greater Inland Empire region. The Infant teacher must drive form home-to-home. The Infant/Toddler teacher will complete bi-annual reports, commute to client’s in a timely manner, support the child with accomplishing outlined developmental goals, utilize creativity to support goal achievement, submit weekly time sheet and session notes and attend a weekly meetings.
*We are asking for a minimum of a 6 to 12 month commitment. This is a contractor position with the strong potential of being a long term position.
Essential Functions:
· Participates in weekly meetings including, but not limited to staff meetings, committee meetings, workshops, training and conferences.
· Complete all billing promptly.
· Respond appropriately to planning, coordination, and implementation of the client’s goal achievement.
· Submit weekly time sheet and session notes a
· Provides updates regarding client status and progress consistently to the Clinical Director.
· Maintains an understanding of professional requirements outlined by DCFS as a mandated reporter.
· Driving is a required aspect of the job (for example: must drive to multiple homes of clients that are all within a particular region).
· Completes bi-annual developmental progress reports, continuous status updates and fiscal responsibilities.
Minimum Qualifications – Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
- Level 1- AA Degree with 3 years of Experience in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Level 2- OR Bachelor’s Degree 2 years of experience in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Level 3- OR a Master’s Degree 1 years of experience in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Must be a degree from an accredited college/university with a specification in Psychology, Social Work, Child Development or related field.
- Must have own reliable transportation, a valid California Driver’s License, and the required automobile insurance coverage.
- US residency, citizenship, or possession of proof of legal employment authorization in the USA.
- Must be able to work with a diverse group of people from various ethnic, socio-economic and cultural backgrounds.

- Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Scheduling Flexibility (hours are typically between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm)
- Ability to perform duties on weekday evenings and weekend days when required.
Environmental Conditions (Working Conditions)
As an Infant/Toddler Teacher, you will provide home-based, play-centered, one-on-one classes for children with developmental disabilities and special needs. Driving is required when in the field, personal, reliable transportation is required. You are encouraged to bring class supplies and you will be provided with a starter kit.
Physical Requirements
In the course of performing this job, there will be driving, occasional light lifting (5lbs to 15lbs) walking and sitting required.
Mental Requirements
Must be able to accommodate to all of the following: constant distractions, interruptions; uncontrollable changes in priorities/work schedules; think to conceptualize and handle stress.
Job Type: Part-Time 10-25hrs per week
Required language:
- Required to read, write and speak fluent English.
- We are also seeking staff that are bilingual. However, this is not a mandatory requirement.
Required license or certification:
- CPR or obtained upon hire
- Valid California Driver’s License
- Pass a TB test
- Required to pay for and pass Live Scan Fingerprinting

COVID-19 considerations:
For all staff, a mask must be worn during in-home class. Upon arrival to the child's home, all staff are required to sanitize their hands upon entry. Both mask and hand sanitizer will be provided to all staff.
