Responsibilities
The Payroll Associate will provide administrative support for the Payroll team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the accurate and timely preparation, processing, and distribution of payroll.
- Payroll Processing :
- Assist in processing semi-monthly payroll for employees, including but not limited to :
- Bimonthly compiling of school-specific payroll summaries for dissemination to school leaders for review / approval
- Validate and input timesheets, hours worked, bonuses, and other compensation.
- Verify the accuracy of payroll calculations, including taxes, benefits, and deductions.
- Compliance & Recordkeeping :
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws.
- Maintain payroll records and prepare reports as needed for audits and compliance checks, including but not limited to :
- Filing all offer letters and additional compensation agreements
- Retrieving and submitting audit selections as requested
- Monitor payroll updates, such as changes to tax regulations or benefits.
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
- Employee Support :
- Address payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Provide employees with guidance on using payroll systems or accessing pay stubs.
- System Maintenance :
- Support the maintenance and updates of payroll systems.
- Partner with IT or vendors to troubleshoot system issues.

Compensation
Initial salary offers for this position range from $60,000 - $65,000. Salaries are determined using an equitable compensation scale that accounts for years of experience and levels of attained education.
