Job Title: Family Medicine Physician
Description:
We are seeking a qualified Family Medicine Physician to join our team at Ascend Medical in Mission Hills, California.
Responsibilities:
- Provide primary care services to adult and child populations with a focus on paneled patients
- Manage chronic diseases and provide outpatient primary care for common illnesses such as flu, colds, and sickness
- Handle a patient load of 22-24 patients per day, averaging 3 patients per hour
Shifts:
Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm or 4X10 per week, 8:30am-7:00pm, with a variable day off if desired
Requirements:
- Board certification from the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM)
- Active, unrestricted medical license in California
- California DEA registration
- Clean background check and malpractice insurance
- Updated curriculum vitae
Compensation:
$135-$160 per hour, depending on travel needs
Setting:
Primary care clinic setting with Epic EMR system
Duration:
This is a 3-6 month placement with options to extend
