The selected candidate will be responsible for working 12-15 hours and being on call for the remainder of the shift.
- Required procedures: Intubation, vent management, lines, all procedures required at this hospital.
- COVID vaccine is required.
Certifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- ACLS certification is also required.
Clinical Details
This position is located in Standish, Michigan, and requires:
- Start date: June 10th, 2024
- Length of assignment: Varies based on need
- Credentialing time frame: 30 days
This is an inpatient, critical access hospital with a 24-bed unit and 5 ICU beds. It has a trauma level of 4 and performs various procedures including intubations, vent management, and paracentesis.
The patient volume is approximately 6 patients per day, and support staff includes general surgery, orthopedics, cardiology, sleep lab, OB, GI, neurology, and pulmonology teams.
The electronic medical record system used is Allscripts Sunrise, and travel arrangements will be made from Midland Base Saginaw.
