Job Description:

Urgent: Hospitalist Needed in NW California

Located approximately 65 miles north of San Francisco, this opportunity offers a competitive compensation package.

Details:

• Setting: Inpatient Hospital
• Shifts: 24-hour periods, spanning 12 hours, with designated call times (on-site sleeping arrangements and meals provided)
• Requirements:
  • Board Certification (BE/BC) in Internal Medicine/Hospitalist
  • Active and clean California Medical License
  • Current DEA certification and a clear NPDB record (no pending or unresolved cases)
  • Minimum one placement commitment of 4-7 days, unless otherwise stated. Multiple providers can be accepted to cover the 3-week period.
  • Proven skills in emergent intubations, ventilator management, and line insertion, accompanied by signed documentation of qualifications and experience
  • Current ACLS certification
  • Rigorous hospitalist experience, with logs submitted for the past 12 months demonstrating proficiency in mentioned procedures
  • Early arrival for a 4-hour orientation session (preceding weekend-evening or weekday-morning)
  • Commitment to serving rural, remote, and underserved populations
• Travel, lodging, and meal arrangements will be provided
• Malpractice insurance coverage is included
