Shift and Schedule:
The physician will work a standard Monday through Friday schedule, with variable shifts to accommodate patient needs. The call schedule will be one in four to five, with a beeper and phone availability from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
Patients and Rounds:
Patients seen per day: 15-20 follow-up patients, plus inpatient and infusion patients. Inpatient patients vary from 6-8 patients per day, with new consults between 3-5 patients daily. Rounding occurs once a day.
Support Staff:
A comprehensive support staff is available, including RNs, NPs/PAs, MAs, and other specialists. They provide assistance with charting, patient care, and administrative tasks.
