What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pain Management Nurse Practitioner position at Ascend Medical Staffing?
Rotate between : Berlin and Colbrook, NH!
95 an hour
12 to 16 patients per day
Provides office-based pain management services to new and established patients (adults), including :
medication management
certification for medical cannabis
education / counseling
monitoring of medication compliance via PDPM and urine drug screens
minor procedures
referral to CRNA colleagues for interventions (e.g., epidural steroid injections at various spinal levels, radiofrequency ablation, facet blocks, SI injections, intercoastal blocks) or other services (e.g., ketamine or lidocaine infusions).
May perform minor procedures, including :
trigger point injections
joint injections
occipital blocks
cold ablation (Iovera), and Botox for headaches or chronic pain, depending on experience / skills of candidate.
May use ultrasound guidance for selected procedures.
Performance of procedures is not required.
If candidate desires to perform selected procedures, such clinical activity may be added after week 2-3 to allow time to acclimate to practice settings and workflows
This opportunity will begin as soon as credentialing is complete and will be ongoing. Asking for 2 - 3 consecutive weeks per month.
