Our healthcare organization is seeking a skilled General Surgeon to cover a vacancy in our medical team.
Job Description:
- Setting: Inpatient and outpatient care
- Shift: 5 days a week, Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm with call responsibilities
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: EPIC
- Temporary privileges available; placement duration of at least 30 days
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing high-quality patient care as a general surgeon in an inpatient and outpatient setting
- Working collaboratively with other medical professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
- Participating in on-call rotations to provide emergency surgical services
- Utilizing the EPIC EMR system for efficient documentation and communication
- Meeting or exceeding performance standards and quality metrics
Requirements:
- Board certification in General Surgery
- Current medical licensure and DEA registration
- Experience working with EPIC EMR system
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
