The Ron Clark Academy (RCA) has developed the proprietary gamification application, House Points, which builds an inclusive and welcoming school culture by empowering students through the power of positive recognition. RCA has organically grown House Points into a $1.6M-a-year product, with over 1,000 schools across the country subscribing to the program.
With the explosive success of the app, RCA is looking for a visionary and dynamic Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with proven EdTech SaaS start-up experience to drive the business to independence, guide RCA through a successful transition, position the company for substantial growth, and execute on its long-term vision.
About the Role
As the CEO of the House Points app company, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the software business in its early stages, including setting the strategic vision, building a strong team, managing finances, securing funding, driving product development, and representing the company to stakeholders, all while prioritizing rapid growth and market penetration within the competitive software landscape. This role requires a mix of leadership, technical understanding, business acumen, and adaptability to navigate the challenges of a nascent company.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Vision and Leadership
Articulate a clear company vision and mission, aligning the entire team around its goals.
Attract, hire, and retain top talent across all departments, particularly in operations, sales, and marketing.
Guide product roadmap development, ensuring alignment with business strategy, market needs, and customer feedback.
Ensure the company is capitalized for growth.
Collaborate with Sales team to create a strategic business development plan to identify and target potential customers, build strategic partnerships, and drive sales growth.
Oversee the company's financial health, including budgeting, cash flow management, and profitability.
What We Offer
Salary : $185,000-$225,000
Equity grants available based on performance.
