We are offering full or part-time positions working with children, teens, and adults experiencing various mental health issues including trauma, depression, anxiety, family/relationship issues, grief, and others. In this role, you will diagnose and treat psychological disorders, teach communication skills, assist patients in addressing dysfunctional behaviors, and guide them through crises. Responsibilities
- Conduct individual or family therapy sessions via telehealth or at the office (in-person optional).
- Document client assessments, progress notes, treatment plans, treatment plan reviews, discharge notes, and other required documentation in an electronic health record within established timeframes.
- Work collaboratively as a member of an interdisciplinary team and attend regular meetings to coordinate care.
- Attend virtual and in-person agency training, required supervision, and continuing education requirements to advance therapeutic skills.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or a similar field
- Active State of Maryland license (Masters level and above)
- Previous experience as a mental health therapist preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized
