POSITION OVERVIEW
The Commercial Fuel Program objective is to increase the breadth and depth of product knowledge in Ascend while enhancing business acumen. With a customer-focused strategy, we prioritize customer needs and satisfaction while building strong relationships.
The Commercial Fuel rotational employee spends 3, one-year rotations as a contributing team member and takes responsibility for key projects to enable process improvements, and to support business growth within a function or assigned area. This development also includes exposure to support functions such as Supply Chain and Finance.
In this role, the employee rotates to a new job each year for three years. The objectives are to learn quickly, build relationships, make contributions, gain knowledge, deliver results, and develop professionally.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Varies by role, department, and area of responsibility but may include:
Work with and learn from Account managers on curating and cultivating customer relationships.
Utilize the CRM tool to manage a sales pipeline, input call reports, and develop leads
Partner with support functions to better understand the full scope of the Commercial function and impacts on other aspects of the business.
Perform market research to understand industry trends and needs, competitive products and their performance.
Communicate customer feedback and customer forecast to appropriate contacts within the organization.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, or the equivalent degree required
Minimum of two years of experience with Ascend Performance Materials required
Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to change roles and/or location at the end of each assignment
Proficient in MS Office products required: Microsoft CRM knowledge a plus

Ability to interface and communicate with all levels of staff and management
