POSITION OVERVIEW

This position will be responsible for identifying and developing new Business Development within the Consumer and Electronics markets.

REPORTS TO Regional Business Director

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers across Consumer and Industrial Electronics, Solar Industry, Consumer goods, and Films Packaging.
  • Manage all components of new business development including project identification and qualification, development and validation, and commercialization.
  • Plan and conduct sales presentations to targeted current/potential customers.
  • Prepare strategic account development plans to support long range business growth.
  • Develop key relationships across and manage up the customer organization.
  • Gain knowledge of competitive positioning: products, pricing, activities.
  • Assist in developing and implementing pricing strategy.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • BS Engineering, MBA preferred
  • Minimum 5 years’ business development experience in engineering plastics within the Electronics and Consumer market
  • Strong knowledge base in Engineering resin to facilitate technical discussions to explore business opportunities

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Self motivated and strong desire to gain results
  • Excellent Interpersonal Communication a must
  • Strong relationship building & negotiation skills
  • Ability to travel, 50% or more “road warrior”
  • Ability to consistently meet and exceed goals
  • MS Office suite etc.
