Ascend's Little Miracle Program seeks a Full-Time Preschool Assistant to support our 'Little Miracles' Community Program in Livermore for children with developmental, learning, sensory processing, and language and communication disorders. We seek a dedicated and passionate Full-time Aide who can work as a team to help create a fun environment and incorporate educational activities that assist our children's development.

Hours areMonday - Fridays: 40 hours per week (This position will start PT but will go into full-time)
MINIMUM REQUIREMENT:
- 1-year minimum working with children aged 0-5 years old.
- MUST HAVE experience working with children/adults with special needs
- CPR
- A minimum of 6 ECE (Early Childhood Education) units are preferred but can also be enrolled or after starting enrollment.
- Must be comfortable with diaper changing and assisting staff in cleaning up for the kiddos
Responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher in managing classroom activities and maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Support students with diverse needs, including those with disabilities, by implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Facilitate engaging learning experiences in early childhood education settings.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to promote a collaborative atmosphere.
- Help maintain a clean and organized classroom to ensure a safe space for all children.
- Foster positive relationships with students to encourage their social and emotional development.

- Bilingual preferred (but not required)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
