Customer Service Agent Tasks & Duties (What you'll do)

• Create operating records for scheduled and adhoc truck routes in company's systems

• Coordinate the recovery of cargo from CFS facilities or 3rd party locations for induction into the Ground Network.

• Prepare paperwork for the transfer of freight within the network including load manifests and bills of landing

• Manage system updates

• Receive and inspect network inbound and transfer freight as needed.

• Identify potential operational delays and capacity constraints on the ground network.

• Assist in enacting contingencies to expend ad hoc capacity as needed and arranging reroutes and additional trucks as necessary

• Record system delays and perform root analysis as necessary

• Support documentation as needed, including processing consolidation in etms Exports and Import and monitoring work flows

• Ensure service provider equipment is in place at regional branches to facilitate operations.

• Perform service provider reviews and update CRM as necessary

Customer Service Agent Shift Info

• Night Shift, 4:00 pm to 1:00 am (Sunday and Monday), 5:00 pm to 2:00 am (Tuesday - Thursday)

• Sunday - Thursday

Customer Service Agent Qualifications (Requirements/Skills)

• Experience in warehousing or freight terminal experience preferred

• Experience with warehouse operating systems and MS Windows Office Suite

• Customer Service Agent experience preferred

• GED / High School Diploma

• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen

• Able to pass a background check

• Able to work in the US

• Excellent at communicating over the phone and handling phone systems

• Basic computer skills and experience with tracking and recording call information, filing documents or updating customer profiles/accounts

• Able to concentrate on multiple problems at once

• Excellent time management and prioritization skills

• Ability to answer the phone, listen actively, relay information, and type basic information simultaneously

• Customer-focused for positive customer experience and resolution
