General Labor Installer / Welder
3 years of experience installing wrought iron
Pay range : $22-25 DOE
We are seeking an experienced Installer who can install wrought iron gates, doors, and fencing. The ideal candidate must know the basics of how to weld and be willing to paint with a paint gun as necessary. You will also need to know the basics of how to weld.
Duties
Ensure that all projects are completed on time and up to the required quality standards.
Fill out all the required paperwork required as the job finishes.
Jobs can include removing the customers’ current ornamental work and installing the newly fabricated item(s) using tools such as clamps, welders and grinders to ensure the project is installed in a timely manner.
Have knowledge or be willing to learn how to use a paint gun to touch up work on site as needed.
Be able to solve problems that arise onsite to ensure the installation runs smoothly.
Qualifications
Proven experience as an ironwork installer
Knowledge of welding
Proficient in English.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail in all aspects
Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.)
Must be able to pass a 10-year background check, drug test including THC and E-Verify screening
