Job Title: Help Desk Technician

Pay: $17 - $19 an hour monthly bonus
Job Summary
Ascend Staffing is looking for a motivated Help Desk Technician to provide technical support to internal users and assist with the daily operations of the IT department. This role is ideal for someone eager to grow in IT, develop new skills, and work with the latest technologies. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues across 50 offices in the U.S., ensuring smooth operations for employees.
Essential Responsibilities
- Provide technical support via phone, email, remote access, and in-person assistance.
- Manage and resolve help desk tickets in a timely manner, escalating as needed.
- Support and troubleshoot hardware and software, including:
- Windows-based computers
- Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.)
- Mobile devices (Apple & Android)
- Printers, scanners, and other office equipment
- Security systems (SimpliSafe) and timeclock devices (Uattend)
- Maintain IT asset inventory, including equipment setup, relocation, and disposal.
- Assist with network troubleshooting and basic system administration tasks.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, networking, and Office 365.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
