Job Position : Production Machine Operator
Location : Austin, TX 78728
Pay Rate : $19.80 / hr
Shift : 6pm-6am
Description :
Production Machine Operator Job Duties :
Work in a team environment to produce medical devices
Move materials from carts onto manufacturing surfaces and conveyor belts
Place unfilled containers onto filling stations; machinery may be in motion
Remove and stack fabricated containers from moving machinery
Tasks are rotated and include fabrication, filling, quality inspection, and cleanroom activities
Responsible for meeting production targets and standards in manual operations while operating equipment
Inspect components and materials and final products either as part of the production process or off line
Production Machine Operator Shift Information
Sun-Tues / every other Wednesday OR Wed-Fri / every other Saturday
6pm-6am
Production Machine Operator Qualifications
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
Must provide GED or High School Diploma
At least 2 years of experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment
All areas require mandatory overtime and include moderate physical demands
Able to to stand for entire shift and able to lift 50lbs
No form of makeup, cologne, perfume, hair products, scented lotions, nail polish, artificial nails / lashes, piercings or jewelry are permitted in any manufacturing area
Uniform and steel-toe safety boots are required
Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
Able to work in the US
