Job Position : TIG Welder
Location : Cedar Park, TX 78613
Pay Rate : DOE
Shift : 2 : 30pm-1 : 00am
Description :
This is a full time, temp to hire, TIG Welding position for a fab shop in Cedar Park. No travel required, no per diem. Experience with robotic welding a plus
TIG Welder for Fab shop (Pay is based on experience)
Monday - Friday
2 : 30pm - 1 : 00am
Overtime can be expected during peak times
TIG Welder for Fab Shop Qualifications (Requirements / Skills)
TIG welding experience is required
Knowledge of welding machinery, electrical equipment, and manual tools
Robotic welding experience a plus
Experience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, calipers etc.)
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
Proficient in English
Able to pass a background check
Able to work in the US
TIG Welder for Fab Shop Tasks & Duties (What You'll Do)
Read and understand blueprints prior to starting a project
Source the materials to be used in the project
Measure and cut materials to specifications
Weld materials using the correct materials to join the metals together
Check finished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerances marked on the blueprints
