Purpose
The Consulting Engineer is responsible for delivering professional services during client onboarding projects. This role focuses on documenting client environments, preparing clients and internal teams for steady-state support, and facilitating a smooth transition from project implementation to ongoing service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Assess and document clients’ existing technical environments.
- Lead client discussions to gather information on current IT infrastructure, challenges, policies, and processes.
- Develop user onboarding and offboarding documentation for help desk use.
- Conduct knowledge transfer sessions with internal support teams.
- Recommend improvements to onboarding Project Managers and Service Delivery Managers to optimize client success.
- Provide support to Operations and Service Desk teams as needed.
- 2 years of experience in a similar technical or consulting role.
- Proficient in cloud networking technologies (e.g., virtual networks, VPNs, site-to-site connections, peering).
- Experience with modern Microsoft cloud platforms including Azure, Intune, Autopilot, and Windows Virtual Desktop.
- Prior experience in a help desk or technical support capacity.
- Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Project delivery or onboarding experience preferred.
- Passion for technology, customer service, and problem-solving.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative, team-oriented, and adaptable.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Salary : $55,000 - $60,000
