We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient monitoring and procedures.
- Perform routine clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for X-rays, and conducting medical-surgical assessments.
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate patient flow within the facility.
- Support coding processes for outpatient services to ensure proper billing and compliance.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care in a Level I Trauma Center setting.
- Participate in training programs to enhance skills related to hospital medicine and emergency care.
Skills
- Proficient in medical administrative support functions, including scheduling and patient communication.
- IV hydration knowledge
- Answering the phone and scheduling as needed.
- Ability to take vital signs effectively and respond to patient needs promptly.
