Job Description
We are seeking a professional CDL-A short haul truck driver to join our team at Aascend. As a driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods across the country.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a commercial vehicle safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Deliver goods to customers on time, while providing excellent customer service.
- Maintain accurate records of miles driven, fuel consumption, and other relevant data.
- Collaborate with dispatchers and other drivers to ensure smooth operations.
- Participate in regular safety inspections and maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle.
Requirements:
- CDL-A license with at least 6 months over-the-road experience.
- No more than 2 preventable accidents in the past 3 years.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and reach throughout each shift.
- Pass all medical and DOT requirements.
