CDL-A Local Dedicated Truck Driver Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced CDL-A local dedicated truck driver to join our team at Ascend. As a member of our team, you'll enjoy a unique blend of home time, top pay, and industry-leading benefits. You'll drive quality equipment, haul 100% no-touch freight, and be supported by experienced dispatchers and a dedicated Driver Retention Team.
Salary and Compensation
Our CDL-A local dedicated truck drivers earn 26% of haul, averaging $1100 per week. You'll also receive paid for clean inspections, breakdown, detention, and layover pay, as well as one day paid orientation and seven paid holidays at $150.00 per day.
Job Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need a valid CDL-A, at least 6 months over the road experience, and no more than 2 preventable accidents in the most recent 3-year driving period. You must also be able to meet and pass all medical/DOT requirements and fulfill duties that require repetitive bending and reaching, etc. throughout each shift.
