Long Haul CDL A Dedicated Flatbed Truck Driver Opportunity

About the Position

We are seeking a reliable and experienced CDL A Dedicated Flatbed Truck Driver to join our team at Ascend. As a member of our fleet, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various regional routes.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive assigned tractor-trailer combination safely and efficiently to designated delivery locations
• Ensure all shipments are properly secured and protected during transit
• Maintain accurate records of hours worked, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance
• Comply with all applicable federal and state regulations regarding transportation
• Participate in pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition

Requirements and Qualifications

• Valid CDL A license with at least 1 year of over-the-road experience
• 6 months or more of experience driving flatbed equipment
• No more than 2 preventable accidents in the past 3 years
• Ability to fulfill duties that require repetitive bending and reaching

Benefits and Perks

• $0.55 per mile base pay
• $50 Tarp pay when paid mileage
• Local dispatch pays $24.50 per hour with OT after 40 Hours
