Job Description
As a Class A truck driver at Ascend, your primary responsibility will be to transport goods safely and efficiently across the country. You will be responsible for:
- Operating a commercial vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
- Maintaining accurate logs and records of your journey
- Ensuring that your vehicle is properly maintained and serviced regularly
You will work closely with our dispatch team to plan and execute your routes, ensuring timely delivery of goods while minimizing downtime.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- A valid Class A CDL
- At least 6 months over the road experience
- No more than 2 preventable accidents in the most recent 3 year driving period
You should be able to meet and pass all medical/DOT requirements and possess good physical health and stamina.
