About the Job
We are seeking a reliable and skilled CDL-A driver to join our team as an over-the-road truck driver. As a member of our Ascend family, you will be responsible for hauling freight in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hauling freight in a dry van trailer across regional routes
- Maintaining a clean and organized vehicle, adhering to company safety standards
- Meeting or exceeding productivity and performance expectations
- Communicating effectively with dispatchers and other stakeholders
Requirements:
- Valid CDL-A license with at least 6 months of over-the-road experience
- No more than 2 preventable accidents in the past 3 years
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and bend repeatedly throughout each shift
- Pass regular medical and DOT exams

- Competitive weekly average pay of $1,300 (5.5 days out)
