What are the responsibilities and job description for the Long Haul Truck Driver position at Ascend?
We are seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at Ascend. As a Professional CDL-A Trucker, you will be responsible for transporting goods across the country in a safe and timely manner.
Salary and Benefits
You will enjoy a competitive weekly average pay of $1700 per week (14 days out), with opportunities to earn more as you gain experience. We also offer excellent accessorial pay, including $150 Breakdown Pay, $20 per hour Detention Pay, and up to $150.00 Layover Pay. Additionally, you will receive 7 paid holidays - $150.00 per day, industry leading insurance coverage, 100% No-Touch Freight, and much more.
Job Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must have at least 6 months over the road experience, a valid CDL-A, and no more than 2 preventable accidents in the most recent 3 year driving period. You must also be able to meet and pass all medical/DOT requirements.
