WHAT WE OFFER:
Ascendance is looking for an experienced, full-time 2nd Shift Diesel Service Technician. This role is responsible for maintaining vehicles while maintaining exceptional customer service. The pay scale will range from $25.00 per hour to $35.00 per hour depending upon experience. Duties can include: preventative maintenance inspections, truck prep, diagnosing customer issues, removing and installing defective parts, driving duties, general shop maintenance and clean-up. The successful team member has at least one year of fleet, dealership, and/or a technical school completion certificate.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Log into computer system to access repair order system.
- Read job order, organize, and prepare for work required.
- Follow prescribed OEM trouble shooting to determine malfunction and plan work procedures.
- Follow checklists to ensure that all critical parts are examined and maintained to prescribed standards.
- Test-drive vehicles as required to ensure proper operation.
- Clearly describe work performed in the repair order system.
- Tag all warranty parts and returns to warranty clerk.
- Attend training classes and keep abreast of factory technical bulletins as provided.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with fellow employees and customers to increase overall customer satisfaction.
- 1-year fleet or dealership experience, trade school certifications considered.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- CDL preferred to start, required after 1 year of employment
- PA State Safety Inspection License preferred to start, required after 1 year of employment

Salary : $25 - $35
