Job Overview
Our company is a fast-growing, Managed Service Provider (MSP) located in central NJ.
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented accounting administrator to join our team in our Somerset, NJ offices. This is an in-office position with the potential to grow into a full-time, hybrid work position.
This role combines financial management, payroll processing, and administrative support to ensure the smooth financial operation of our office. The ideal candidate will be experienced in bookkeeping, HR functions, and general office administration. Service billing experience is a plus, but not a necessity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize QuickBooks Desktop for accounts payable, receivable, and monthly reconciliations
- Process monthly recurring contract and time & materials billing
- Administer semi-monthly payroll through Paychex Flex
- Assist with HR functions, such as new hire onboarding and employee documentation
- Support annual audits for workers’ compensation and business owners’ insurance
- Manage employee medical and dental insurance enrollments
- Oversee general office administration, including vendor management and office supplies
- Maintain accurate financial and administrative records for all client accounts.
- Provide support to management with reporting and documentation as needed
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop
- Experience with payroll processing and HR functions
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 per week
