Job Description:
Provide assistance to our dentists during the examination and treatment of patients and to perform clerical functions. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of 6 months approved chair side experience as a dental assistant.
- BLS Certified (Must have before start date)
- Preferred Graduate from an Accredited Dental Assistant Program/School
- Experience with EMR (electronic medical records) and medical terminology
Responsibilities:
- Preparing the treatment/clinical area;
- Update general patient charting with documentation in a timely manner
- Establish a rapport with all patients and validate treatment recommendations made by the doctor
- Other duties as assigned by team leader and department leader
- Assist Provider with procedures and tasks as needed
- Recording data on patient’s record or chart as directed by the Dentist;
