Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced software developer specializing in identity and access management (IAM) for a long-term, fully remote contract position. This role focuses on developing software solutions for the agency's single sign-on system, security gateway application, and the integration of web-based systems. Responsibilities include administering and supporting IAM systems, applications, and configurations while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
The developer will work extensively with IBM Security Verify Governance (ISVG), IBM Security Verify Access (ISVA), IBM Security Verify Directory (ISVD), and the ISVA Federation module. Senior-level experience with Java EE, including servlets and JSP, is required, along with familiarity with CI / CD processes. The role involves problem investigation, system specification design, programming, and the implementation of solutions.
With at least eight years of experience, the developer is expected to work independently, manage complex tasks, and contribute innovative solutions to achieve project goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software solutions for identity and access management systems.
- Administer and support IAM applications, configurations, and integrations.
- Work with IBM Security Verify Governance (ISVG), IBM Security Verify Access (ISVA), IBM Security Verify Directory (ISVD), and ISVA Federation.
- Collaborate with project teams, product support teams, and management to implement security and authentication solutions.
- Investigate issues and implement solutions by designing system specifications, standards, and programming approaches.
- Utilize Java EE technologies, including servlets and JSP, to develop and enhance IAM functionalities.
- Support CI / CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
