About the Role:
Job Title: Senior Backend Developer
We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer with a strong background in Java and Spring Boot development. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 7 years of experience, primarily focused on backend development. This role involves working on all phases of the development lifecycle, including development, writing test cases, and ensuring smooth deployment to production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Write and execute test cases to ensure high-quality code.
- Work through all phases of the software development lifecycle, from design to deployment.
- Deploy applications and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and scalable solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Java
- AWS
- Spring boot
- Testing experience (Cucumber, 7PS)
Location: Hybrid in Richmond, VA
Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $130,000 – $135,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
