Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in a wide range of commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, business torts, and other complex litigation.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and provide strategic advice to clients.
- Manage all aspects of case development, from initial investigation through trial or settlement.
- Collaborate with partners and other attorneys to develop case strategies and ensure client goals are met.
- Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Minnesota State Bar.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial litigation.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and client management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines with attention to detail.
- Trial experience is a plus but not required.
