Key Responsibilities :
- Manage a diverse caseload of construction defect litigation matters, representing clients such as contractors, developers, insurers, and property owners.
- Draft and file legal pleadings, motions, and discovery documents in connection with construction defect cases.
- Conduct legal research and offer strategic advice on matters including breach of contract, construction defects, warranty issues, and negligence.
- Work closely with expert witnesses and other consultants to develop compelling cases and defense strategies.
- Handle negotiations, settlement discussions, and alternative dispute resolution processes, including mediations and arbitrations.
- Appear in court for hearings, depositions, and trial preparation as needed.
- Maintain accurate and organized case files, ensuring timely filing and compliance with court rules and deadlines.
- Communicate regularly with clients, providing updates and expert legal counsel throughout the litigation process.
