About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced defense litigation attorney to join our team at Ascendion. As a key member of our litigation department, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of defense litigation matters and providing expert advice to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of defense litigation matters from inception to resolution
- Conduct thorough legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents
- Prepare for and represent clients in depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings
- Develop case strategies in collaboration with partners and other team members
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the bar and active license in PA/NJ
- 1–5 years of defense litigation experience preferred
- Experience with depositions, mediations, and court appearances
