Job Title: Field Support Technician
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site technical support for commercial printing presses and copier equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical and mechanical issues.
- Perform regular maintenance, inspections, and upgrades to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and resolve recurring technical problems.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing timely and efficient service.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and customer interactions.
- Travel a minimum of 100 miles to client sites as needed, with all mileage reimbursed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in troubleshooting commercial printing presses or copiers.
- Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting complex technical issues.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a field environment.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various locations (100-mile minimum).
- Previous field technician or on-site service experience is a plus.
Travel: Minimum 100 miles (all mileage reimbursed)
Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $80,000– $90,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
