We are seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney to join an esteemed mid-size legal practice. As an Insurance Defense Attorney you will have the opportunity to work on diverse and challenging cases, representing clients in legal proceedings. LOCATION: Oklahoma City OR Tulsa (Hybrid)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Handle a diverse caseload of Commercial Insurance Defense matters within various legal verticals
- Conduct legal research and analysis to develop case strategies.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and mediations.
- Collaborate with clients, witnesses, and experts to build a strong defense case.
- Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution processes.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the Oklahoma state bar association.
- Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience.
- Excellent research, writing, and analytical abilities.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage a caseload and meet deadlines.
