About the Role :

Job Title : Supervisor – Item Processing Specialist

Project Summary :

As the leader of the Item Processing Operations team for a Banking client, you will play a vital role in guiding and supporting the staff to achieve the client’s strategic goals.

Collaborate with the department Manager to oversee all department functions and performance aspects. Evaluate and enhance item processing processes focusing on risk management, compliance, and adherence to standards.

Additionally, you will be responsible for partnering with vendors, addressing vendor-related issues, assisting with production when needed, and completing daily, monthly, and annual reports on time.

Ownership of Client and reconciliation, coaching and developing team members, and offering project assistance are integral aspects of this role

Responsibility :

Foster a positive and engaging work environment for each team member by promoting skill development, coaching for improvement and growth, inspiring others through your words and actions, ensuring positive employee morale throughout the Client, and embracing our mission, vision, and core values.

Assist the department Manager in overseeing all aspects of department functions and performance, contributing to the credit union's overall success.

Step in to assist the team in production to ensure SLAs are met.

Perform supervisory functions to ensure quality service, products, security, and staff needs.

Implement and ensure departmental compliance with established security for protecting member records and confidentiality.

Required Qualification :

5 years’ experience in item processing, cash management, operations, or related financial roles.

4 years of hands-on experience in customer service roles, showcasing a consistent commitment to delivering exceptional support.

2 years of previous leadership experience

Location : Sacramento, CA

Salary Range : The salary for this position is between $74,000 and $85,000 annually. Factors that may affect pay within this range may include geography / market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
