Job Title: Java Developer
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality Java-based applications and microservices.
- Work with NodeJS to build and optimize backend services.
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines using AWS Glue and other AWS services.
- Implement DevOps best practices, including CI/CD, containerization, and infrastructure automation.
- Deploy and manage applications on AWS, utilizing services such as Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS, and DynamoDB.
- Ensure high performance, security, and scalability of applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application and cloud infrastructure issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, DevOps engineers, and product managers.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 7 years of experience in Java development with strong knowledge of Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
- Proficiency in NodeJS for backend development.
- Experience with AWS services, including AWS Glue, Lambda, S3, EC2, and RDS.
- Strong understanding of ETL processes and data integration techniques.
- Knowledge of DevOps principles, including CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with version control (Git) and deployment automation tools.
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Apache Kafka or other streaming technologies.
- Certification in AWS (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, AWS Solutions Architect).
- Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Location: McLean, VA ( Preferred Location; Hybrid Role; Needs to work 3 days from Office in a week); Can consider for Wilmington, DE.
Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $120,000– $130,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
