Job Title: Lead Java Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of backend systems using Java.
• Architect and develop APIs and RESTful web services to support frontend and third-party integrations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Implement and manage DevOps/CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth application deployment and operation.
• Leverage AWS cloud services to develop scalable and secure backend systems.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the development team.
• Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability through rigorous reviews and adherence to best practices.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives.

Required Qualifications:

• 10 years of hands-on development experience with Java.
• 5 years of hands-on development experience with the Spring Framework.
• 5 years of hands-on experience developing APIs and RESTful web services.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Strong understanding and implementation of DevOps/CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to mentor and guide development teams.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Test-Driven Development (TDD) experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Python or PySpark is a plus.

Location: McLean - VA( Preferred Location; Hybrid Role; Needs to work 3 days from Office in a week); Can consider for Wilmington, DE

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $150,000– $160,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
