About the Role:
Job Title: Network Engineer
Project Summary: The Network Engineer will be working in Fremont, CA hybrid mode. The ideal candidate should have experience with Unix, Linux and Python for scripting purposes.
Responsibilities:
- Adjust network sizes to meet volume or capacity demands.
- Communicate with customers, sales staff, or marketing staff to determine customer needs.
- Coordinate network operations, maintenance, repairs, or upgrades.
- Design, build, or operate equipment configuration prototypes, including network hardware, software, servers, or server operating systems.
- Determine specific network hardware or software requirements such as platforms, interfaces, bandwidths, or routine schemas.
Required Skills:
- 2 years of Network Engineering, Linux/Unix, and Python experience.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware relates to data storage.
- Knowledge of computer software, such as configuration management software, desktop communications software, operating system software and internet directory services software.
Location: Fremont, CA (Hybrid)
Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $100,000 – $115,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
