About the Role

  • Job Title: Public Policy Manager II
  • Location:Washington, DC 20004

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage the External Affairs team budget, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company's financial policies
  • Forecast quarterly budgets with the finance team for accurate financial planning
  • Onboard vendors, ensuring seamless integration and compliance with company's procurement processes
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for the team on budget, onboarding, and ad credit processes
  • Meet monthly with External Affairs leads to provide budget updates and ensure alignment
  • Provide End-of-Year (EOY) deadlines and shepherd the compliance process
  • Manage cross-functional review processes end-to-end
  • Communicate externally with outside counsel and collaborate internally with legal and compliance teams

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience in budget or program management, or a related field
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Public Policy or related field
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in productivity and financial management tools
  • Experience working cross-functionally across different teams

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in financial planning and forecasting
  • Master's Degree in Public Policy
  • Knowledge of procurement processes
  • Ability to provide guidance and support to team members
  • Experience with budget tracking and reporting

Location

  • Washington, D.C. (Onsite/Hybrid)

Position Information

Salary Range:The salary for this position is between $83,200 – $114,400 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Benefits:The Company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: [medical insurance] [dental insurance] [vision insurance] [401(k) retirement plan] [long-term disability insurance] [short-term disability insurance] [5 personal days accrued each calendar year. The Paid time off benefits meet the paid sick and safe time laws that pertains to the City/ State] [10-15 days of paid vacation time] [6 paid holidays and 1 floating holiday per calendar year] [Ascendion Learning Management System]

This position is eligible for commissions in accordance with the terms of the Company’s plan. Commissions for this position are estimated to be based on individual performance. Additionally, this role is also eligible for a bonus based on the achievement of mutually agreed KRAs.
