Location - Delray Beach, FL
Schedule - M-F, 9am-5pm
Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including general ledger entries, account reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and exposure to SOX.
- Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for decision-making purposes.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to maintain internal controls and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Conduct financial audits and coordinate with external auditors.
Requirements of the Accounting Manager:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive construction accounting experience
- Strong in their convictions, confident winning mentality
- Thorough understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards.
- Proficient in using accounting software and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Salary:
- $90k - $120k Base Bonus
- PTO
