What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Manager position at Ascendo Resources?
We are looking for a detail-oriented and strategic Accounting Manager to lead the daily operations of our clients accounting department. This role ensures financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to driving process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage month-end/year-end close processes
- Oversee AP/AR, cash receipts, forecasting, and general ledger
- Conduct variance analysis and prepare financial reports
- Ensure policy compliance and support audits
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Lead and support accounting team workflows
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in accounting or finance
- CPA preferred
- 7 years of accounting experience
- Advanced Excel skills; Microsoft CRM a plus
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical abilities
