Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the review and processing of customer profiles to ensure compliance with AML/KYC regulations and internal policies.
- Support the AML/KYC Manager in gathering and preparing documentation for regulatory audits and internal reviews.
- Conduct preliminary analysis of customer transactions and escalate any unusual activity for further review.
- Assist in responding to inquiries from internal teams regarding compliance requirements and procedures.
- Help with the preparation and maintenance of compliance reports and metrics for management review.
- Contribute to the updating of policies and procedures in alignment with changing regulations.
- Provide support in customer due diligence (CDD) and enhanced due diligence (EDD) processes.
- Assist with training initiatives by organizing materials and tracking attendance for compliance programs.
Qualifications:
- Fluent in Spanish and English is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of AML/KYC regulations and financial compliance frameworks.
- Previous experience in an AML/KYC support or compliance-related role is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- ACAMS certification or similar is a plus but not required.
