Position Summary :
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plaintiff's / Claimant's side Personal Injury Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This role requires a strong background in handling all stages of workers' compensation claims, from intake to resolution, and effective collaboration with a team of dedicated paralegals. The ideal candidate thrives under minimal supervision and demands a high level of professionalism, expertise, and commitment to advocating for injured workers.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage all aspects of workers' compensation claims, including client intake, case evaluation, discovery, hearings, and appeals.
- Develop legal strategies tailored to meet the unique needs of each case.
- Provide clear and empathetic communication to clients about case status, legal options, and outcomes.
- Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure efficient case handling and optimal client outcomes.
- Negotiate settlements and represent clients in hearings and mediations before the Industrial Commission.
- Stay up to date on relevant changes in workers' compensation laws and regulations in North and South Carolina.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other legal professionals.
