Job Title: Associate AutoCAD Designer

Job Summary
The Associate AutoCAD Designer is responsible for developing competency in the daily tasks of an AutoCAD Designer I, with the goal of advancing to that level within a reasonable timeframe. This role involves the digital design of Individual Patient Solutions (IPS) products, including guides, implants, splints, and models. The Associate AutoCAD Designer will collaborate with internal team members and surgeons to ensure all technical requirements for each case are met, requiring a strong understanding of medical procedures and anatomy. Using computer-aided design (CAD) software, the designer will create precise 3D models of custom parts tailored to patient needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and demonstrate knowledge of the full range of IPS products within the assigned division.
- Identify technical requirements in collaboration with team members and customers.
- Design IPS products that meet technical specifications, regulatory standards, and internal guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal procedures for product design and manufacturing.
- Clearly depict parts and technical features to facilitate manufacturing and ensure intended functionality.
- Conduct and document tests to verify and validate product performance, reliability, and usability.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of case-specific patient files.

Education and Experience Requirements
- Associate degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Bioengineering, Biomedical) or a related technical/medical field.
- Experience with 3D modeling software preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
